“This artwork symbolizes a lot, but probably not enough in the same instance. It’s a reminder that we consume, we always need more, excess upon surplus. [It] nods to the market as to what value something can possess. It posits the question: Do we buy because we love, or do we buy it to fill?

What is number. Number is really interesting.
Number is what it means. Number is what it does. Number is what it makes of the use of time. Number is equal to what we have and have not seen.
Eye see into you, with purple and indigo glare.

A craft, a space craft. Lines that draw. Lines that protrude. Life as it was just passed by, as the spacecraft whipped by.

Now you,
You really. You took what I gave.
I refuse.
No, I know.
Yes.
But no,
Understand how you did me. I cried.
I wanted to love.
There is such a moment where I saw lust and with it I got carried away.
I want.
No you.
Yes, but never.
You saw me as for what I am. I saw you in delusion and pandering.
As for what you did, I vomit on it. I will not trust. You are the capitaine of the shit storm.

I originally heard about the Manifesto Antropófago (1928) during a poetry reading. I looked it up and became instantly obsessed and infatuated. It changed my life. The sketch within the Manifesto was of work by Tarsila do Amaral (Abaporu, 1928). I too wanted to sketch Amaral, so I did, and by chance I ended up right where I started as I painted a line drawing of (Anthropophagy, 1929).

Sometimes I just want to destroy things for the fun of it.
I believe that some things must be destroyed in order to create new.
Without destruction we do not have chaos.
Without chaos we do not have order and or civility.
With restraint, we should seek to destroy.
With confidence and intent we should seek to destroy.
With tact and accuracy we should seek to destroy.
All to built it back up, better, stronger, and more great than ever before!
